About this Class

THIS IS FOR borrowing a single cockpit kayak or sit on top kayak-For the Paddle Parade! Special thanks to Tennessee Riverline, Sequatchie River Outfitters and Outdoor Chatt for lending their fleets for the event and to Tennessee Valley Canoe Club and TN Rivergorge Trust for onwater support. If you have your own boat, we encourage you to bring it so that those without can use this opportunity. Paddle Parade is an organized, recreational people-powered paddle parade group river float. Partnership with Tennessee Riverline and Sequatichie River Outfitters provides additional opportunity to participate as they are lending their kayak fleets. You are encouraged to bring your own personal paddle craft. *There will be prizes this year for the most creative paddler/craft*. Free shuttles are provided to assist with parking logistics prior to the event start after dropping off your watercraft. The event is supported by Outdoor Chattanooga, a division of the City of Chattanooga’s Parks and Outdoors Department. Boat sizes are recommended for ages 12 and up due to the type of craft and distance.
