For adults aged 50 and above, we present Silver Adventures—an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in nature under the guidance of our expert outdoor team. With a focus on personalized experiences, our group ratios are kept low to ensure personalized attention, and we provide all necessary recreational equipment. Outdoor Chattanooga's Silver Adventure this month will lead short, leisurely-paced hike of The Shirley Miller Wildflower Trail, featuring a swift-flowing mountain stream to Pocket Creek Falls. This trail features a quarter-mile-long handicap-accessible boardwalk, protecting the delicate wildflowers. Beyond the boardwalk, a rugged section extends along a mountain stream to Pocket Creek Falls, offering a 0.9-mile round-trip hike with abundant wildflowers. Additional wildflowers can be spotted along the Pocket Loop Trail and in other areas of the Pocket. This program is free but all trail user MUST purchase a $10 day pass to access. Transportation is provided from Coolidge Park to the trailhead.
