Bushcraft: Firebuilding and Camp Cooking PUBLIC DESCRIPTION: Experience the satisfaction of building a fire with your own hands and cooking a meal in the open air! In this half-day, hands-on class, you’ll learn the core bushcraft skills that make outdoor living both safe and enjoyable. Our instructors guide you through the fundamentals of firecraft—from gathering and preparing tinder and kindling to using traditional methods like flint and steel. Once the flames are going, you’ll put your new skills to use by preparing and cooking a simple camp meal, exploring efficient fire-management techniques and the principles of Leave No Trace cooking and cleanup.
