Join Us for a Kayaking Adventure Through Chattanooga's History! Embark on a beginner-friendly kayak tour of downtown Chattanooga, narrated by an interpretive ranger from Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and guided by the experienced staff of Outdoor Chattanooga. This unique adventure combines outdoor recreation with rich local history. We'll begin with a brief paddling instruction and orientation with our stable recreational kayaks and all necessary equipment. Then, we’ll launch from the North Shore for a relaxed paddle on the Tennessee River. Along the way, you'll learn about Chattanooga's storied past as we explore landmarks like: Maclellan Island Bluff View Arts District Ross’s Landing Historic Downtown Bridges Perfect for first-timers and those looking for a new way to experience the city, this guided paddle is your chance to enjoy scenic river views, local culture, and a touch of adventure — all from the water.
