Full Beaver Moon Naturalist Walk - Partner Program with Tennessee Aquarium Take a leisurely walk along the South Chickamauga Creek Greenway as night approaches to learn underneath November's full moon. Lead naturalists with Tennessee Aquarium will join Outdoor Chattanooga in this partner program to guide you to observe and listen to the sounds of nature in the change of seasons. This full moon is known as Beaver Moon, named from the time when Native Americans and early settlers would set traps to catch beavers to have warm furs for the winter. This short adventure along the boardwalks above the creek for this night walk educational experience to highlight the actions of animals preparing for winter and the onset of the colder days ahead. Appropriate for ages 10 and up. Free. Pre-registration is required.
