Join Outdoor Chattanooga for a unique and scenic guided one-way hike along The Cumberland Trail, a stunning natural pathway with scenic winter views that traverses the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee. The Poplar Springs to Suck Creek segment follows a series of high ridges and deep gorges, offering hikers a chance to explore the remnants of the Cumberland Mountains, which once rose as high as the Rockies. The Cumberland Trail is still rapidly developing, with over 185 miles of the trail already completed, as well as 40 trailheads open for public use. When fully finished, the trail will stretch for over 330 miles, providing a comprehensive connection from Signal Mountain to Cumberland Gap. This trail segment will be guided as a one way, 5 mile stretch that offers a mix of terrain, from steep climbs to easy stretches, suitable for hikers of various skill levels, and is considered moderately strenuous. Our van shuttle will return you to your vehicle at the trailhead. Chattanooga Classic Hike Series is a collection of premier guided hikes designed for beginner or seasoned hikers looking to connect with nature, showcase the area's diverse landscapes, and make lasting memories in one of Tennessee's most picturesque locations. This guided hike along The Cumberland Trail is the perfect way to explore one of Tennessee’s most beautiful and evolving hiking routes. Join us for a day of adventure, nature, and discovery! Note- Registration is limited & restricted to those 12 years+.
