About this Course

The Southeast Bumble Bee Atlas is a community science project dedicated to tracking bumble bee populations across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Using their survey protocol, we will begin documenting the diversity of bumble bees at Sterchi Park. This program is offered in partnership with a Tennessee Aquarium outreach naturalist. This program will take place entirely outdoors, and participants may have the opportunity to gently handle live bumble bees while we photograph them. Walking distances may vary depending on bee activity and location. Rain cancels. Free.
