WHAT? Forest Bathing is a term that emerged in Japan in the 1980s as a physiological and psychological exercise called shinrin-yoku (“forest bathing” or “taking in the forest atmosphere”). Join Outdoor Chattanooga for a walking tour to help guide you into a practice of enjoying any natural environment and consciously connecting with what’s around you. The walk is at a leisurely pace, rated easy. Guided reflection is focused on seasonal/Astrological means of full moon & full moons effects on nature and humans. We will complete the program with a tea ceremony around the firepit. Science and research supports what we innately know, that time spent immersed in nature is good for us.
